TextielLab, TextielMuseum Tilburg (Netherlands), June-August 2026
I’m extremely excited that I will be making new sculptures this summer with the TextielLab, the TextielMuseum’s professional workshop in Tilburg. This is a long-held dream and I’m thoroughly looking forward to evolving new works with the knitting and passementerie departments.
Through microscope images, drawings, oral histories, sculpture, sound, textiles and text, my new works explore relations between below-ground fungal networks, the roots of agricultural crops, and above-ground habitats. The work focuses on two largely agricultural regions that face each other across the North Sea: East Anglia and Zeeland.
